Episode 3 — World Quality Day

On World Quality Day, we reflect on the importance of iteration, inspection, and ISBNs.
🧪 You're CEO — Episode 3: World Quality Day
It’s World Quality Day, which means it’s time to pause, inspect, and improve — not just our code, but our craft.
Here at Buildiful, that means we’ve officially entered the quality assurance stage for our first book, How to Steal AI’s Jobs — ensuring that every sentence, section, and system aligns with what we stand for.
The QA Mindset
Quality isn’t perfection.
It’s iteration — making sure each revision leaves that thing a little better built.
That’s what we’ve been doing this week: rigorous editing.
And while we refine our words, we’re also refining the systems that will bring those words to readers everywhere.
Because quality applies to infrastructure, too.
Last Week’s Result
Your Nacho Day votes are in:
Option #1 — KDP (Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing) was the clear winner.
That means we’ll publish through KDP for global reach and simplicity —
while still keeping the door open to work with other distributors where it makes sense.
This Week’s Dilemma
To publish a book, you need an ISBN — a global ID that says “this book officially exists.”
We’ll need one for the first edition of How to Steal AI’s Jobs.
But there’s a strategic choice to make:
-
Buy a single ISBN — cheaper upfront, focused solely on this book.
Great if How to Steal AI’s Jobs is a one-off experiment. -
Buy a pack of 10 ISBNs — higher cost now, but prepares us for future titles.
Think: Growing a Brain, Guess the Patent, and more under SVT Press.
Should we stay lean, or think like a library-in-the-making?
