Today is Mole Day.
Chemistry folks celebrate it as 6.02×10²³.
We’d like to do a wordplay on “mole” and commemorate the day by inviting moles into our own startup — people watching closely from the inside to see whether we might be onto something truly game-changing.
Buildiful — The Backstory
For the past few years, Buildiful has been a boutique tech agency, quietly crafting software for other companies.
It kept the lights on — barely. But every late-night sprint, every tool we built for clients, reminded us not to forget our own ideas.
Those ideas have been on the back burner for too long.
The “best” time to work on them was months ago.
Now, with no new clients lined up, the next-best time to stop freelancing for other people’s dreams and start building ours is now.
Every second we brake to second-guess ourselves is time we won’t get back.
The Plan (so far)
We’re turning Buildiful into a tech ecosystem — tools, media, and games that feed each other’s growth.
- Buildiful Tech → the products and platforms we’ve wanted to make for years.
- The Silicon Valley Times (SVT) → our lab journal and public record of the experiments.
- SV x Press → the stories, books, and blueprints documenting what works — and what readers can try for themselves.
Each episode will share one or more real startup dilemmas — and you, as our interim CEO (Chief Experiment Officer), will decide what we do next.

We’re at square one with a finite runway.
It’s time to start digging tunnels that might eventually lead us to light — another “mole” reference here.
